Republican Mayors Association Announces New Appointments To National And Advisory Boards
DALLAS, TX – The Republican Mayors Association (RMA) today announced the appointment of new members to both the National Board and Advisory Board, further strengthening the organization’s growing network of Republican mayors and supporters.
Anita Childress, a Dallas, TX native, employment law attorney and Founder/Chief Strategist of Interlocutor, LLC has been appointed to the RMA National Board. As a member of the National Board, Ms. Childress will help guide the organization’s national strategy and support its mission to empower Republican mayors across the country.
The RMA is also pleased to welcome Mayor Jeff Cusat of Hazleton, PA, and Mayor Michelle Romero of Henderson, NV, to the RMA Advisory Board. Both mayors represent important cities in two of America’s most contested battleground states. During their tenures in office they have demonstrated a strong record of leadership and innovation in city government.
These additions follow the election of Scottsdale, AZ Mayor Lisa Borowsky, who joined the Advisory Board earlier this year.
The Advisory Board includes a dynamic group of Republican mayors who share best practices, advise on key priorities, and help expand the association’s impact nationwide.
“These leaders exemplify the values of the Republican Mayors Association, fiscal responsibility, safe communities, and local solutions to local challenges,” said RMA Chairman and President Eric Johnson, Mayor of Dallas, TX. “We’re honored to have Anita Childress, Mayor Cusat, Mayor Romero, and Mayor Borowsky join our team. Their leadership will help us continue building a stronger organization that will continue to make an impact in our cities.”
“Mayors are on the front lines of solving problems and improving people’s lives,” said RMA Advisory Board Chairman Matthew Moench, the mayor of Bridgewater, NJ. “I am excited to welcome the new mayors of the Advisory Board and look forward to their perspectives as we continue to advocate for Republican mayors across the country.”
The RMA’s leadership structure includes a National Board composed of prominent Republican leaders and supporters, and an Advisory Board made up of active Republican mayors from across the country. The RMA is the only national organization solely dedicated to electing and reelecting Republican mayors across the country, and championing the accomplishments of Republican mayors.
